I skipped the polling day on 8/3/08 and brought the family to Penang on the first day of school holiday, thinking that Barisan Nasional would surely win in the general election. But lo and behold, the Penang fell into opposition hands on the day we arrived there!On the following day, seeing no unrest on the street (in fact it was quiet for a city downtown) we went to Penang Hill to try the funicular car and it was a good experience trying to rush for the limited seat inside the cable car which was packed like a sardine can.
